Tazzy Kats Enterprises Inc. is a locally owned and operated company, working out of the Drayton Valley, Brazeau County area. Tazzy Kats has been in the Brush Mulching business for over 20 years.
My name is Kevin Young. Owner, and President of Tazzy Kats.
Under new Ownership we are excited about the opportunities ahead. We have retained the safety culture, and dedication to providing excellent customer service, with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry, and related fields. The staff further strengthen our position in the industry, with their various backgrounds and knowledge, and we are able to provide the level of excellence that our customers expect. The Safety programs we are registered with, are ISNetworld, Avetta, and Comply Works.
All of our staff are certified in WHMIS, TDG, First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSTS. We continue to strive for Zero Injuries and Incidents, by maintaining a safety standard and culture that we can be proud of.
About the Ownership
We have lived in the Drayton Valley/Brazeau County, for over 14 years. My wife Lori and I, along with our 3 daughters, have made this our home.
Prior to taking over Tazzy Kats, I was fortunate to have been able to build a resume that would support and grow Tazzy Kats Enterprises Inc. Some of these opportunities include, operating equipment for the purpose of building and maintaining roads. Working with Weyerhaeuser for over 10 years, at 3 different facilities, across 3 provinces, leaving at the position of Supervisor.
I have had the pleasure of being involved with the Drayton Valley/Brazeau County Fire Services, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant with over 10 years of service, within the Fire Services. During my time I received the honor of being selected as Fire Fighter of the Year in 2011.
I continue to Volunteer as the Defensive Coordinator with the Frank Maddock Warriors football team for over 10 years.
We firmly believe in giving back to help the community in which we live in.
My wife Lori and I, also own and operate the local Dairy Queen, for over 12 years. We have the opportunity through the DQ, to also give back and have supported numerous events and initiatives in and around our community. Supporting our local youth sports programs, schools and the reading programs, as well as many local organizations with fundraising.
